Alaskans are very fortunate to enjoy vast open spaces and detachment from the hustle and bustle of the cities. Even when near a city or town, a person does not have to venture far to be immersed in abundant beauty and the penetrating silence of the wild. The more remote, the better, though … as it offers a much higher level of experience!
